Richard Giam

President & Founder

Richard Giam is an award-winning entrepreneurial fundraiser, strategic connector, investor, and community builder with more than 25 years of proven experience in business development, fundraising, sales, marketing communications, and relationship management. Over the years, he has successfully spearheaded numerous fundraising and business initiatives, working closely with business owners, family offices, investors, professionals, and high-net-worth individuals across Singapore and the region.

He is best known as the Founder and President of Rainmaker, a fast-growing values-driven business community comprising more than 600 entrepreneurs and professionals. Built upon the core principles of Love, Authenticity, Respect, Kindness, and Youthfulness (LARKY), Rainmaker has grown under his leadership into a highly influential platform that champions authentic relationships, collaboration, mentorship, philanthropy, and meaningful community impact.

Richard is also a passionate philanthropist and advocate for social causes, actively supporting initiatives related to elderly care, youth development, and community welfare. He serves as Patron of Helping Joy and is a former Goodwill Ambassador for the Singapore Red Cross. He strongly believes in leveraging influence, relationships, and resources to create lasting societal impact.

Academically, Richard holds a Master of Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Communication Studies (Honours) from Nanyang Technological University, where he received the Pearson Education Gold Award as the top student in his cohort. He is also the recipient of the Best Personal Brand Award 2017 and the author of the book Fundraising Among the Giants.

In addition to his work in community leadership and fundraising, Richard is an active investor in the US stock market with a strong interest in long-term growth and passive income strategies. He is also a Certified NLP Practitioner, Master Enneagram Coach, and ACTA-certified trainer.

Known for his charisma, strategic mindset, authenticity, and people-first leadership style, Richard continues to inspire and empower individuals, entrepreneurs, and organisations through mentorship, investing education, fundraising, and purpose-driven leadership.

Clinton Zheng

Deputy President & Co-Founder

A double-degree graduate from Singapore Management University, Clinton made the bold decision to choose entrepreneurship over traditional employment during his undergraduate days.

As Director of TMO Holdings, a global integrated marketing group, Clinton helps high-potential lifestyle brands expand their reach through unique strategies and an extensive network of communities, influencers and brand leaders.

Clinton has worked with renowned brands including ZALORA, Grana, Diamond Walker, YSneakers, and Waach. His expertise in marketing to millennials and Gen Z has earned him global recognition as a world-leading marketer in that demographic.
